4 Hour Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 green pepper
    1 onion
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. dry mustard seed
    3/4 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop and combine cabbage, pepper and onion.
    Pour 1 cup sugar on top and set aside.
    Combine celery seed, 2 teaspoons sugar, salt, mustard seed, salad oil and vinegar; bring to a boil.
    Pour over salad.
    Let set 4 hours.
    Stir and serve.
