Refrigerator Dill Pickles(Large Quantity) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 qt. water
    1/4 c. pickling salt
    dill
    onions, sliced
    garlic
    fresh cucumbers, cut or sliced lengthwise
Preparation
    Boil vinegar, sugar, water and pickling salt and cool.
    Put dill, few onions and garlic in bottom of a gallon jar or ice cream bucket.
    Add fresh cucumbers.
    Pour the cooled brine over the sliced cucumbers in the large container.
    Cover and refrigerate.
