Last Minute Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (5 3/8 oz.) pkg. prepared scalloped potatoes mix
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    3 1/2 c. hot water
    4 oz. can mushroom pieces, drained
    1 Tbsp. catsup
    1 c. dairy sour cream
Preparation
    Brown the ground beef in 10-inch skillet.
    Add chopped onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Add hot water, mushroom pieces, catsup, scalloped potatoes and sauce mix.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Heat until boiling.
    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
    Add the sour cream just before serving.
    Makes 4 servings.
