Ingredients

1 box butter cake mix
1 large pkg. chocolate instant pudding
1 can cherry pie filling
1 large container Cool Whip
1/4 c. Amaretto
Preparation

Bake cake mix according to package directions.
Cool and cut into small pieces.
In a clear, glass bowl, put half the cake pieces in bottom.
Add half the cherry filling, mixed with the Amaretto, over cake.
Make pudding according to package directions and spread half over cherries.
Next, add half of the Cool Whip, covering the pudding.
Repeat next layers the same.
Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
