Cream Of Tomato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. finely chopped onions
2 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. flour
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. tomato juice
2 c. cold milk
Preparation

Pan-fry onions in the butter.
Stir in the flour, the sugar, the salt and the pepper.
Cook until smooth and bubbly, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Gradually stir in the tomato juice.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Boil one minute. Stir hot tomato mixture gradually into the cold milk.
Heat rapidly to serving temperature.
Serve immediately.
