Turtle Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 lb. chocolate chips
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    3/4 c. butter
Preparation
    Prepare mix as directed on box.
    Use 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Pour 1/2 of batter into pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Melt caramels with 1/2 cup of Carnation milk.
    Mix with butter in saucepan.
    Low heat.
    Pour caramel mixture over the cake.
    Sprinkle with nuts and chocolate chips, then pour other half of cake mix over this.
    Bake 20 minutes.
