Karo-Nut Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. buttermilk
1 c. white Karo syrup
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation

Beat eggs until frothy; add flour to sugar, then add to egg mixture. Add buttermilk, syrup, salt and vanilla. Cut butter into small pieces and add to mixture; beat well. (A wire egg beater is better than an electric mixer.) Stir in pecans and pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes or until top is slightly brown. Reduce oven temperature to 250\u00b0 and bake 45 minutes or until set.
