Great Jerky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cracked pepper
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients.
    Marinate meat in a tightly covered glass, stoneware, stainless steel or plastic container for 6 to 12 hours in refrigerator, stirring occasionally.
    This is enough marinade for 1 pound beef or venison.
    Meat should be lean and sliced 3/16 to 1/4-inch thick.
