Ground Beef And Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, sliced
    1 green pepper, sliced
    cheese (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 medium potatoes, sliced
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with salt and pepper in a skillet, stirring until crumbly.
    Place in a 1-quart casserole dish.
    Layer onion, potatoes and green pepper over ground beef.
    Top with soup.
    Bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
    Remove from oven and put cheese on top.
    Put back in oven long enough to melt cheese.
    Serves 4 to 6.
