Lasagna (Delicious!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. ground meat
    3/4 lb. sausage
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove garlic, minced
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. basil
    1 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 large can tomatoes, peeled (about 3 1/2 c.)
    12 oz. can tomato paste
    8 lasagna noodles
    20 oz. cream-style cottage cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Brown meat slowly; spoon off excess fat. Add the next 8 ingredients. Simmer at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in boiling, salted water about 15 minutes. Drain; rinse in cold water. Combine cottage cheese, eggs, 1 tsp. salt, pepper, parsley flakes, and Parmesan cheese (separately from meat). Using 13x9x2 pan, place small amount of meat mixture in bottom of pan; then 4 noodles; then spread half of cottage cheese mixture; then half of Mozzarella cheese; then half of meat sauce. Repeat the layers. Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0-375\u00b0) about 45-50 minutes. Let stand about 15 minutes before cutting into serving pieces. This may be divided in two pans for smaller meals. Freezes well.
