Tropical Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. peanut butter (crunchy)
    3 c. Kellogg's Special K cereal
    1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    Combine corn syrup and sugar in a 3-quart saucepan.
    Cook over moderate heat, stirring occasionally until mixture bubbles. Remove from heat.
    Stir in peanut butter.
    Add Special K cereal and coconut; stir until coated.
    Press evenly into bottom of buttered 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Let stand in cool place until firm.
    Cut in squares.
    Add Spanish peanuts to crunchy peanut butter.
