Pike'S Peak Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

3 c. sliced peaches, canned or fresh
1/4 c. plus 3 Tbsp. Holly granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon peel
1 tsp. almond extract
Preparation

Arrange peaches in well-buttered 8-inch square pan or deep casserole; sprinkle with mixture of 1/4 cup Holly granulated sugar, lemon juice, lemon peel and almond extract.
Heat peaches in 375\u00b0 oven while preparing dough.
