Homemade Shake And Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. onion powder
    3/4 c. cornmeal
Preparation
    Mix
    together
    well.
    Cut
    in
    shortening
    with
    pastry blender
    until
    resembles\tfine
    crumbs.
    Store
    in
    airtight container.\tMakes 6 cups of mix.
    Use 1 cup mix per chicken or 6 to\t8 pork chops.
    Coat meat with mix and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour. Spray pan with non-stick cooking spray before baking.
