Cookie Jar Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg (unbeaten)
    1/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add egg and molasses. Sift in dry ingredients; blend well.
    Form teaspoonfuls of dough in balls and roll in granulated sugar.
    Bake on ungreased baking sheet for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned and cracked. Bake at 350\u00b0.
