Caramel Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. boiling water
    1 Tbsp. butter or oleo
    8 c. pecan halves
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Mix sugar, butter and boiling water.
    Let cook without stirring.
    When mixture has reached the boiling stage, cook until soft ball stage.
    Drop in pecans and continue to cook for 1 minute.
    Drop on wax paper.
    Separate as much as possible.
