Pork Chops With Kraut And Apples(Do Ahead) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/4 c. (26 oz.) sauerkraut, drained
    2 tsp. dried chives
    1/4 tsp. dill weed
    6 pork chops (1-inch thick)
    salt and pepper to taste
    3 Tbsp. butter
    6 medium red apples
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. dark seedless raisins
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Combine sauerkraut, chives and dill weed.
    Arrange in bottom of shallow 3-quart baking dish.
    Sprinkle pork chops with salt and pepper.
