Granny'S Strawberry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. butter or yellow cake mix
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 box frozen strawberries (fresh, sweetened strawberries may be used if desired)
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Preparation

Bake cake according to directions on box.
Pour into 9 x 13-inch pan.
While cake bakes,
dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup hot water and 1/2 cup cold water.
