Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. quick oats
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Mix together water and oats and cover.
Cream together butter and both sugars.
Sift together flour, soda, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add to batter mixture and mix well.
Stir in oatmeal mixture. Bake in loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes or until springy.
