Ingredients

1/3 c. peanut butter
2 Tbsp. shortening
3 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 3/4 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream together the peanut butter and shortening.
Add the sugar; beat and add the 2 eggs.
Stir in the milk.
The mixture will be very thin, of course, but stir well and the milk will blend in.
Sift together and add the flour, baking powder and salt.
Beat until very smooth.
Bake in waffle iron.
This batter will also make dandy pancakes.
