Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell
    2 or 3 medium Vidalia onions
    1 c. sweet milk
    2 eggs
    pinch of salt and pepper
Preparation
    Place onion slices in unbaked pie shell.
    Mix together the milk, eggs, salt and pepper.
    Pour egg mixture over onion rings. Top with about 3/4 inch of grated sharp Cheddar cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
