Coconut Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. walnuts
1 c. flaked coconut
2 tsp. coconut flavoring
Preparation

Combine sugar, oil and eggs; beat well.
Combine dry ingredients.
Add to sugar mixture alternately with buttermilk. Stir in nuts and coconut flavoring.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 5 minutes in greased and floured tube pan.
Pour hot coconut syrup over hot cake.
Allow to remain in pan 4 hours.
