Aunt Lila'S Creamed Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. white potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 stick margarine
    2 1/2 c. whole milk
Preparation
    Put potatoes and onion in large pot.
    Add just enough water to cover potatoes and cook until soft.
    Drain liquid from potatoes, leaving about 1/2 cup of liquid in the pot.
    Add margarine and whip with mixer until creamy.
    Add milk.
    Add salt as desired. (You may use more or less of onion and margarine according to taste.)
    After adding milk you will have to reheat before eating.
