Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. margarine
    4 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
    cherry pie filling
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Combine first 6 ingredients.
    Spread in jelly roll pan after mixing.
    Cut into squares (16 to 20) and drop cherry pie filling in the middle of each square.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes. While still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
