Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) tomato soup
    3 1/2 c. water
    1 onion, chopped
    1 (2 oz.) jar diced pimientos
    3 Tbsp. diced green pepper
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 stick margarine, melted
    salt and pepper to taste
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except cheese; pour into baking dish. Bake at 400\u00b0 for one hour.
    Remove from oven; top with cheese. Return to oven and allow cheese to brown.
    (I add one small can tomato paste for more taste.)
    Simple to make and is a very tasty dish.
