Rice And Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. oil
4 cubes sofrito
1 pack Goya Sazon
4 oz. tomato sauce
2 to 3 dashes pepper, garlic powder and oregano
1 (16 oz.) beans (red kidney, cannellini or pink beans)
1 1/2 cans water (use the can from the beans)
1 Tbsp. green stuffed olives with juice (optional)
1 c. cooked white rice
Preparation

Combine the first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
Once the sofrito melts, add next 3 ingredients (optional).
Raise the heat to high for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, adjust for salt, then simmer on low for 15 minutes. Serve with white rice.
Fried pork chops go real well with this combo, but it is really good by itself.
