Amish Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. walnuts or pecans (if desired)
    1 egg
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. hot coffee (instant or freeze dried may be used)
Preparation
    Dissolve soda in coffee.
    Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Add reserved topping and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 10 minutes.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar after baking.
