Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. thick apple pulp
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. vinegar
    8 c. sugar
Preparation
    Core, peel and slice apples.
    Add only enough water to cook apples until soft.
    Press through a sieve, then processor until smooth.
    Measure pulp.
    Combine all ingredients.
    Cook for about 1 1/2 hours.
    Stir frequently to prevent burning.
    Put into sterilized jars with 1/2 inch left at top.
    Put on cap: screw band tight.
    Process for 10 minutes in hot water bath.
