Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 sticks softened butter
1/4 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract

Preparation

Cream butter, shortening and sugar.
Add remainder of ingredients in order given.
Beat well.
Place in well-greased and floured pan.
Bake in cold oven at 325\u00b0 for 90 minutes.
Take out of pan while hot.
