Chicken Paprikas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. chicken, cut up
    3/4 Tbsp. salt
    2 large onions, minced fine
    2 to 3 cloves garlic
    2/3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. hot paprika
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over chicken.
    Let stand 1/2 hour.
    Saute onion and garlic in shortening until golden brown.
    Add pepper and paprika; stir and add water.
    (Don't let paprika burn.)
    Cook until tender (45 minutes).
