Spoon Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
2 eggs
Preparation

Slowly add the cornmeal to the boiling water, stirring constantly.
Cook until thick.
Remove from the heat and add the salt and butter.
Then add the milk and beaten egg yolks.
Fold in the beaten egg whites and place in a greased shallow baking dish (6 1/2 x 10 x 2-inch).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
Yields 6 servings.
