Apple Dumpling - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 - 10 apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
butter or margarine
2 c. water
1 can biscuits
cinnamon
Preparation

Peel and slice apples.
In a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, put 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 stick butter and water, set in 325\u00b0 oven to heat.
Roll out 10 canned biscuits on floured board about the size of a saucer or a little larger.
Hold dough in hand and fill with apples.
Add 1 tsp. sugar and pinch together.
Put pinched side down in hot liquid.
Put pat of butter on each dumpling and sprinkle another 3/4 c. sugar on top with cinnamon.
Bake for 1 hour.
