Chocolate Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. instant coffee granules
    1 tsp. hot water
    3 egg whites
    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    3 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2/3 c. cocoa
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Dissolve granules in hot water in a bowl.
    Stir in egg whites and vanilla.
    Combine powdered sugar and next 3 ingredients in a bowl.
    Add egg white mixture and beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until blended.
    Stir in pecans.
    Drop by teaspoon 1-inch apart on greased and floured baking sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
