Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8-inch pie shell
    1 qt. fresh strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    juice of 1 lemon
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Wash berries, save the prettiest one for
    the
    crowning garnish; hull the rest.
    Put half the berries into a saucepan, crush them.
    Add sugar, cornstarch and lemon juice.
    Cook
    and stir over medium heat until it thickens and
    becomes
    translucent. Cool.
    Cut the remaining berries into halves
    and\tstir gently into
    the
    cooked
    mixture.
    It's the
    combination\tof cooked and raw berries that gives the wonderful
    flavor.
    Turn filling
    into pie
    shell\tan
    hour before serving.
    Chill
    in refrigerator. Garnish with whipped cream; top
    with unhulled berry.
