Gingerbread(Serves 21) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1 c. dark molasses
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    5 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cream butter; add sugar, gradually.
    Beat in the egg, molasses and vinegar.
    Blend in sifted dry ingredients, then chill.
    Roll 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thick on a floured surface.
    Cut into desired shapes.
