Cracker Jack - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. (level) cream of tartar
1 c. raw peanuts

Preparation

Cook until very crisp, threads.
Then add 1/2 teaspoon butter and 1/8 teaspoon soda.
Put popcorn in syrup.
