Ingredients

1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
6 slices bread
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
powdered sugar for cooked toast
Preparation

Mix milk, egg, vanilla and 1 tablespoon of sugar.
Dip both sides of bread in mixture.
Place in hot skillet of melted butter or margarine.
Brown on both sides.
Serve with powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
