Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 soup bone or short rib
    1 can tomatoes (whole)
    2 cans mixed vegetables
    1 onion, cut up
    1 box egg noodles (optional)
Preparation
    In a large stock pot, add 2 quarts of water, soup bone or short rib, whole tomatoes, mixed vegetables (drained) and onion (cut up).
    Cover and cook over medium heat.
    Will be done when onion is soft.
    As fat floats on top of water, skim off and discard.
    Add noodles, if desired.
