Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 c. sugar
    9 c. ground fresh pears
    grated rind and juice of 2 oranges and 1 lemon
    3 cans (8 oz.) crushed pineapple with juice
    1/4 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cook all ingredients together except ginger, 35 minutes or
    a bit longer.
    Add ginger and cook 10 minutes longer.
    Put in jars and seal.
    Makes 12 (1/2-pint) jars.
