Baked Chicken Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 broiler size chickens (about 2 lb. each), cut in half
    6 or 8 medium potatoes, cut into 4 parts
    6 tender carrots
    4 small onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 or 1 1/2 c. cream
    1/2 stick butter
Preparation
    Slice the butter over the top (1/4 cup of butter).
    Place raw vegetables in a roaster with a tight fitting top.
    Place chicken halves on top of vegetables.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper and half and half cream over the ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
