Pap'S Venison Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large venison roast
    6 or 7 large potatoes, cubed
    3 large carrots, sliced
    2 stalks celery, chopped
    1 medium onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    pinch of seasoned salt
    hot sauce
Preparation
    Heat oven to 225\u00b0 to 250\u00b0.
    Place roast in the center of a large cast-iron pot.
    Add potatoes, celery and carrots around roast.
    Place sliced onion on top of roast.
    Add salt, pepper, seasoned salt and hot sauce to taste.
    Cover with glass lid and slowly bake for 3 1/2 to 4 hours (or until very tender).
