Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, separated
4 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Blend egg yolks, cornstarch, salt, sugar, lemon rind and juice.
Add
to
boiling water, stir over low heat until thick. Add butter.
Pour
into
a\tbaked
pie crust; top with meringue made with egg whites.
Return to oven to brown.
