Ingredients

1 deep dish frozen pie crust
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onion rings
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. shredded medium sharp cheese
1/2 tsp. salt
dash of cayenne
Preparation

Fill frozen crust with 1 1/2 cups fried onion rings; reserve remaining 1/2 cup for garnish.
Beat eggs slightly; add milk, 1/2 cup cheese, salt and cayenne.
Pour over onions in pie shell. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 45 minutes. Sprinkle reserved onions around edge of pie.
Bake 5 to 10 minutes longer.
Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
