Spinach Soup(Spinatsuppe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. frozen spinach or 2 lb. fresh spinach
    2 qt. chicken stock
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 c. cream
    2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
Preparation
    Wash fresh spinach, then chop coarsely.
    If frozen spinach is used, defrost and drain.
    Bring chicken stock to a boil and add spinach.
    Simmer 6 to 8 minutes.
    Strain soup and remove spinach. Chop finely and reserve until later.
    Melt 3 tablespoons butter in saucepan.
    Stir in flour and add hot stock, a little at a time. Return saucepan to heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add spinach and seasoning and simmer 5 minutes.
    Garnish with quartered eggs.
