Turkey Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. chopped cooked turkey
    8 c. turkey stock
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/3 c. uncooked barley
    1 c. cubed potatoes
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1 1/2 c. frozen peas
Preparation
    Combine stock, onion and barley in soup kettle.
    Bring to a boil over high heat.
    Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes.
    Add potatoes and carrots and simmer 20 minutes more. Stir in turkey, peas and pepper.
    Simmer 5 minutes more.
    Serves 8.
