Canning Apple Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. water
    3 qt. apple slices
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and water and add the apples in large pan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until apples are tender.
    Pack into sterilized jars; seal with lids that are in boiling water.
    Tighten lids and invert until sealed, overnight to be safe.
