Canned Cucumber Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 to 12 large cucumbers
    2 lb. onion
    3 c. celery
    2 hot peppers
    2 sweet peppers
    6 c. water
    1/4 c. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. turmeric
    4 c. white vinegar
Preparation
    Slice unpeeled cucumbers and dice other vegetables.
    Place in large canning pot and cover with salt and water.
    Soak 12 hours. When time has passed, heat vinegar, sugar and spices.
    Drain water off vegetables and add hot vinegar mixture.
    Bring to a boil, approximately 10 minutes or until mixture is well heated. Transfer to hot canning jars and seal with hot disks and rings.
