Twenty-Four Hour Omelet - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices white bread (crusts removed)
    butter
    1 lb. ground sausage
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard
    dash of cayenne pepper
    3/4 lb. Longhorn cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown sausage and drain well.
    Butter 1 side of bread and cut into 1-inch cubes.
    Place bread evenly in well-greased 9 x 9-inch pan.
    Sprinkle bread with cheese.
    Layer sausage on top of cheese.
