Pecan Crisps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter *
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 egg, separated
    3 Tbsp. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and salt.
    Add egg yolk, milk and vanilla. Gradually mix in flour.
    Chill batter until dough can easily be formed into small balls.
