Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1 tsp. soda
    pinch of salt
    1 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Put dates in bowl and pour boiling water over dates.
    Let set to cool, then add all other ingredients.
    Bake at 350\u00b0.
    When cold, cut in bite-size pieces.
