Ingredients

2 (16 oz.) cartons (3 1/2 c.) vanilla yogurt
2 1/2 c. fresh dark sweet cherries, pitted or frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries (13 oz.)
1/3 c. milk
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. miniature semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation

In a blender container or food processor bowl, combine yogurt, 1 cup cherries, milk and corn syrup.
Cover and blend or process until almost smooth.
Freeze mixture in a 2 quart ice cream maker or put in a bowl and freeze in your freezer until almost firm. Add remaining cherries and chocolate pieces; continue to freeze until firm.
Yields 6 cups.
